Reliable, zero-latency audio , worth the price <3
I’m a music producer, and I mainly use this cable to connect my AirPods Max to my Mac or audio interface when I need to listen without latency, or when I’ve forgotten my studio monitor headphones. I’ve tried several third-party Lightning to 3.5 mm cables before, but this is the only one that has been consistently reliable for my setup. The audio quality is clean and stable, with no dropouts or connection issues, even during longer sessions. Yes, it’s more expensive than other options, but in my experience, the cheaper alternatives didn’t last or introduced small issues that made them impractical for serious listening. If you need dependable, low-latency audio—especially for music production or professional use—this cable is worth it. <3

Works with AirPod Pros
unfortunately this is the only cord that will work for the airpod pros. It does work great and i have tested many others! very expensive for a silly cord but it does work! it’s pretty long too, i think around 4 feet.

Works for using AirPods with ps5
I got this cord so I could use my AirPods Max with my PS5. Happy to say this cord works! You just plug in the headphone Jack part of the cord into the controller and the lightning part into the headphones. I personally don’t think that this cord is worth $35 because it feels flimsy and made of cheap material; not the normal material apple cords are made of. I’ll just have to be gentle when handling the cord. But it seems that this is the only cord on the market that works for what I needed it to do.

Works as Advertised
Being an Apple product, this cable is required to plug into your Beats Solo or Airpods Max to an audio output like your laptop or stereo equipment. To my knowledge, no 3rd party company makes an audio cable like this. Nevertheless, it works as advertised in wired mode once plugged into your headset. I did read somewhere Best Buy's signature brand Insignia does have an audio cable that can do the same as this, but I'll let another reviewer post that to verify. Main reason for the 4 stars is because the cable is a bit flimsly with thin gauge wire. It could have been thicker. Just got to make sure you handle cable with care for it's longevity.

Authentic Apple cord for my AirPod Max gen 1
I can confirm this is an authentic Apple cord and is bidirectional. There are no other bidirectional lightning to 3.5mm cords on the market so you will have to pay out for this cord if you need it. I ordered this to use with my Gen 1 AirPod max on my ps5. Plugged it into the controller and now I’m getting excellent audio and I can use the controller mic for in game chat or party chat. I can’t talk about the durability as it’s brand new but the cord is on the thin side so you will need to be careful with it but I do expect it to last if treated well. Easy to use, connection is great. 5 stars.

Disappointed in Apple’s quality, but works.
I mean, it works. For the price, not worth it. Super thin and flimsy. Unfortunately, this is the only thing you could use for the Airpods Max though.

It works flawlessly.
I read the reviews, the good and the bad. For reference the photo has a lightning cable (OEM Apple charging cable) in white and this audio cable in black. It is indeed pretty thin, but as an old timer who remembers the way back days of wired headphones (lol sarcasm) it’s pretty typical of wired headphone cords. I ordered this to use my AirPods Max with my Steam Deck during flights. After way too many hours in /r and trying to get my headphones to work via Bluetooth and failing, I gave up and went for the cable. At $30 it was worth it for me, they plug right in and work great, flawlessly even. The sound quality is good, I don’t notice any real difference. As far as durability goes I’m not overly concerned. The cable will live in my case except during flights.

Overpriced
Flimsy, short, and overpriced. It’s very sad that Apple is forcing people to buy this overpriced cable for their AirPods Max’s.

Turns AirPods Max into regular headphones
Turns my AirPods Max into regular headphones so I can use them with a non-apple or non-Bluetooth device. Only connects headphones, not the mic. But I can still use the native noise cancelling and the AirPods Max have some built in volume adjustment as well. It’s a nice light cable like the old apple headphones, not thick like a charging cable. You barely notice it when it’s plugged in. Overall 5/5 for sure

Works perfect!
Worked perfect right away. Just a tip your headphones will need to be charged on some models for the cable to work properly which is probably why some reviewers had trouble. Cable is thin but light and durable and the coating is non-stick so it doesn’t tangle which was great on the plan! Little pricey but worth it to be sure it worked properly.

Funcionan bien con AirPods Max
Lamentablemente son la única opción para usar AirPods Max con cable , y digo lamentable porque el cable no solo es caro si no que se siente frágil y no de acorde a su precio , pero funciona como debería eso si
