A: Yes, they will work. they do seal good, yet not to sure how tight they will be, as to not let the item dry out over a period of time. they  do work good, and snap tight.

A: 3-3/4”w, 7”L, 3-1/4”H with lid closed (when lid is open the height on the bottom half is 1-1/2” and the top half 1-3/4”
