H2Accu allows visual confirmation of the presence of hydrogen. It is a “must have” test kit for a variety of hydrogen water generating products like: Hydrogen-rich Water Bottles, Hydrogen Inhalation Machines, Hydrogen Infusion Machines, H2 tablets, Alkaline Ionizers, H2 Water Filters, Sticks, Bubblers, Reactor Cartridges, etc.. H2Accu is a blue reagent that reacts with water containing dissolved hydrogen gas, and turns from”blue” to “clear” when the reagent added is not enough to completely neutralize the hydrogen molecules in the water. Count the number of reagent drops consumed until the mixed liquid starts to turn from “clear” to “blue”. Each drop is equivalent to 100ppb (0.1ppm), and the concentration of dissolved hydrogen can then be known by multiplying the number of drops by 100ppb. H2Accu test kit includes a 10ml (400 drops) bottle of test reagent, two 6ml sampling cup, a graduated glass dropper and a stirring stick. These accessories make the test easier and more reliable. This kit contains two beakers so that you can do a side-by-side comparison test. By using the graduated dropper, you can easily sample and accurately mix 1/2 diluted solution. Test Method Note: shake the reagent bottle gently before use and seal it well after use 1. Add the water to be tested exactly to the red line of the beaker (6mL). 2. Drop the blue reagent into the water and count them. 3. Stir the water after every few drops. Water will turn colorless from blue if hydrogen is present. 4. Continue to drop and stir until the water no longer becomes colorless (remains blue), that’s the end point of the test. 5. Multiply the total drops counted by 100ppb to get the hydrogen concentration in ppb. * A drop of reagent represents the reaction with 100ppb hydrogen. If 15 drops of reagent are dropped, the concentration is 15x100ppb=1500ppb (1.5ppm). Precausions When opening the packaging to separate the two sampling cups, it is important to avoid excessive force that may cause the sampling cups to break. Please tighten the bottle cap when testing reagents are not in use to avoid accidental spillage of blue reagents inside and contamination.
