What I love about these packs is that they feel like a soft fabric and don't slide around or sweat like plastic covered packs that can leave the bottom of your cooler or your food covered in moisture. Neither do they leave a puddle while defrosting so can be stored right away when not needed for a while. Living in the Southwest, I use them in a cooler when I shop for frozen or cold items and for road trips across long stretches of desert.
