Do you intend to fix that problem??** A: I tape the handles **Q: How big of a load of laundry will the wide flexible bag hold? Have they fixed the problems with the handles coming off?** A: This basket holds a load of laundry that will also fit in your washer. So, it will hold approx. 15 to 18 lbs or approx. 4.5 cubic ft. I followed another reviewer's suggestion and used duct tape wound through the handles.
