I also liked the aluminum casing. Build quality of this tiny BT speaker is amazing, feels solid. So tiny that I can put it into my pocket; extremely portable. I like the rubber ring located at the bottom of this speaker which helps keep it from sliding around. Onto sound quality… I would have to say that sound quality is much better than that of an iPhone X’s speakers. The volume can be set much louder than an iPhone X’s without distortion coming into play. A tiny amount of bass can be heard from this speaker (which is much a need improvement over an iPhone X’s speakers), but don’t expect a whole lot from a speaker this size. Bluetooth range was on par with your standard BT range at around 25-30 feet. Sound started to cut in and out at about 25 feet. This speaker can be paired with another one to produce a stereo effect. Will have to try that out soon. Looking back at my purchase, I think the price is a tad expensive, especially if I want to get 2 of these. These are more of a novelty gadget (which I love experimenting with). If they were priced at half the cost, I’d be more than willing to purchase a 2nd one. But at $19.99 a pop and $40 for 2, they’re no longer in the novelty gadget/experimental gadget price range for me. My hobby will be too expensive to keep up at this range. If you expect Bose sound from this speaker, your in Fantasy Land. :)You won't get the bass like you would out of a Bose, or a bigger blue tooth speaker.But the sound coming from this tiny speaker, will impress you.
