LG CordZero Vacuum, Matte Black (Renewed)

I love this vacuum. It picks up everything my toddler trows its way! Such a sleek look and charges fast. Has a back up charger for when it dies. I get through 3 bedrooms and my living room and still have life left. I’ve never had to use my back up charger. Not excessively loud. Love that it’s cordless. Very easy to clean as well the parts are washable. I have this one and a Dyson and I haven’t touched my Dyson since I made this purchase.

A refurbished product is a pre-owned electronic device or item that has been inspected, tested, cleaned, and repaired to restore it to 100% working order before being resold. I’m not sure who’s responsible for making this happen but it’s the seller or Amazon who are responsible for making repairs for this vacuum to work 100% and this vacuum is not in full working condition it states that there are two batteries. One of them is totally dead and doesn’t work does not charge properly or hold a charge. The dust pan came broken because every so often the trap door springs open and the dust that has been collected is now all over the floor and leaves a mess to clean. Come to find out that I have to replace the top filter because it clogged up I tried rinsing it out with water like the instructions say but it started making a noise that it can’t breathe and shuts off. This is the first month of using it. So I called customer support (Amazon) and the rep asked me if I knew that I bought a refurbished vacuum. Well I remember a few years ago I bought a refurbished vacuum from Amazon and it was excellent! This unit however is not that great! From what I can tell you is that LG’s cord Zero works well when this things are replaced. It has a very strong suction system that pulls stuff out of the carpet. Sadly it doesn’t work well with the things I mentioned above.

This vacuum is a direct factory refurb. It was pristine and even had the factory plastic masking on all the surfaces. No way to tell this from new. It performs as expected and did a great job around the house. The reason I wanted to leave a review was the excellent customer service I received from the seller. The wrong combo tool was included in the box from LG. It was for a different LG vacuum. I contacted the seller and received a response within minutes. After sending over a few pictures of the incorrect tool, they located the correct one and sent it by USP the same day. They made it right and I couldn't be happier!

I bought this to use at work cause we have an auditorium with carpet stairs with lots of chairs and I needed something that was cordless. This vacuum is the best thing, it’s lightweight and does an amazing job. It’s easy to use and goes around the chairs with ease making cleaning easy. It came with 2 batteries so I have more cleaning time. It also does great on the vinyl stairs as well. The best product for your money.

With the seemingly thousands of stick vacuum options out there, I got stuck in the endless cycle of trying different ones out only to return them because they didn’t have power or their functionality overall was not user-friendly. Normally, I don’t get items for no other reason other than I just haven’t really, but I decided to go on this just to see. I’m really glad I did. This vacuum has more power like actual suction power than 99% of the other vacuums I tried and these were new vacuums. This is a refurb. I’m really happy with this product and I love the stand and the two batteries. The one thing I don’t like is that the canister itself can be a little difficult to empty debris does not readily fall out of it if it is or slightly damp other than that, this has been a good experience.

I've only has this for a few weeks so I'm not sure about its long-term durability. I am replacing the same model that I've had for 7 years. I've had three of the same vacuums all of which, with the exception of this one, I purchased new. These vacuums have lasted much longer than I expected. I obviously like the vacuum a lot. I like the ease of use, the convenient docking-station and the vacuum works great on pet hair on hardwood floors. It needs to be cleaned often if you have pets because dog hair gets into everything, which will happen with any vacuum you buy. Not so great on carpet, but I did not expect it to be. Understand that this is a refurbished unit. The motor, while it works fine, it does not sound the same as the new ones I purchased. The unit is beat up a bit, so the cosmetics clearly show a lot of use and there is not a doubt whatsoever that the unit is refurbished. Hence the 3 stars rating. The good news is that it comes with a 12-month warranty. I am not certain how convenient the administration of that warranty will be, and I hope I don't need to find out. All in all, I would buy it again and I'm hopeful that it will last a couple years.

This is our second LG. We have one upstairs and one downstairs. We have tried 3 other cordless vacs and found this one to be the best. It has more power than the others and works with a long pile rug that completely stalls the other brands. Having a spare battery is great as well. Usually, one battery is sufficient to do the whole house but it is nice to know that you don't have to obsess over whether or not you will make it through without running out of charge. The storage stand is nice and keeps the spare battery charged. So far it is more durable than the other brand we had.

TL;DR: The vacuum doesn't last long, and LG will charge you more than the product is worth to use their "warranty." Do not buy this product unless you're happy to replace it after a single year of use. We had this vacuum for a little over a year and things were mostly fine. Soon after the 1 year mark, however, the motor burned out. After spending about an hour talking to LG to convince them that the battery was in all the way and had a charge, they finally agreed to honor the 10 year warranty and send us a new motor so we could do the replacement. We filled out the paperwork they sent us and submitted it through their portal, and life's good right? Wrong. We wait a month and a half with no word from LG, finally call them back just to be told they never got our form from their own portal! So we start the whole process again, only to be told this time that they will not send us a motor and the only way to have it replaced is to pay an extortionate rate to have one of their certified technicians do the replacement, unbelievable! The repair instructions were sent to us originally and is in no way difficult and any semi-competent adult could do this simple replacement. This whole fiasco just reeks of LG using this 10 year warranty as marketing just to turn around and force people into a situation where they may as well just buy a new product. I don't believe they stand behind their product in any real capacity any longer.
