Q: Does this unit have a low and high heating or just strictly off and on?

Just an off and on button no temperature regulation.

Q: Do the long rollers come with the longer clips like the set on qvc? i do not want to order the long rollers and get the short clips.

Hello and thank you for your inquiry. The rollers come with the clips that are for the long roller . This is the identical item as seen on QVC with the clips they ship with

Q: Do these curlers have heating elements inside that go close to the top of the curler like the old fashioned ones did or are there heated slats inside?

They don't have the posts that the rollers go over top of like the old fashioned ones, however, they each plug into the base and have their own internal heating element. I am a hot roller lifer and these are the best I've had since the 90s, which were the ones on posts.

Q: Pictured are short & a long clip with this set. To those that have ordered, is what pictured, is that what you get? I want all long clips.
