The scratches were heavy enough to feel with a fingernail and were quite noticeable while driving. I say "were noticeable" because after using this product as directed on the bottles, the scratches are gone! Granted, with just the right lighting and angle, I can still see very minor remnants of what was, but the main etching is gone, and that's perfect for me.
