The issue is the velcro. The velcro strips are such that the prickly, plastic half of the velcro is on the bottom of the strap, and the soft velcro is on the top, meaning if you want to wear these looser than FULLY tight on your foot, you have to leave some of the prickly side exposed, poking down onto your foot, which really hurts. Why, dudes? You can get around this by flipping it over and wrapping it the other way but the back side of the strap is like a white/off-grey and looks more like ugly medical tape and def wouldn't be passable as a shoe strap. Bummed, but ok for closed toed shoes. Just switch the position of the velcro and these would b perfect!!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Serves the purpose, but is too small. I wear it all day long together with Dr. School massaging heal pads.I had taken one star down because of the sizing. I am size 7 wide. Size M has less than 1/4" for Velcro overlap. And the rest of the Velcro was scratching my foot until I attached the thin clothes to cover that part of the Velcro.May be I need size L.
