I wear an XL, with this shirt in XL, I could not button any chest button. Returned it and got a 2XL ... which can be buttoned (barely) but is too tight to be comfortable, especially if I were to wear it backpacking. That activity is best done with a LOOSE shirt ... to wear one of these back packing I would have to order at least a 3XL. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Fit was fine, but the pockets... *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2017* I read that these fit a bit small, and I'm right between a M and L depending on the brand (5'10", 195 lbs). I first got the Large but it was too big, and the two shirt pockets were not flattering. I returned it and got the Medium. It fit fine, but the pockets hadn't gotten any smaller. They go nearly into my armpits. This one's getting returned as well.Edit: I carefully removed the stitching on the pockets and kept the medium. I like the look and the fit without the pockets, though the fabric doesn't sit flat around the collar unless it is buttoned up to the neck. Somehow I must have missed in the description of the shirt where they tell you it's tapered cut to the point where it's to uncomfortable to wear. Chalk this learning experience up to the fact I haven't bought a lot of shirts online.
