I purchased this tea maker in May. One of my concerns was the glass pitcher. My previous tea makers had plastic/acrylic type pitchers. I have really liked this tea maker. I love how clean the glass pitcher comes. I’ve used it every day since getting it. Tuesday after pouring some tea in my glass and sitting the pitcher on the counter a large crack occurred along the side & bottom. I contacted customer service with proof of purchase & pictures of crack. They responded quickly and said they’d send out a replacement & apologized for it happening. I received the replacement today. Their customer service was top notch & I’m grateful for the ease & quickness of getting my issue resolved. Thank you Wirsh customer service. I do love my tea maker!

I love this ice tea maker and the the tea turns out very flavorful. Love the sliding strength feature. I would have given this 5 stars but the glass pitcher is very fragile, I feel that my ice maker shoots the ice out too quickly and may break the pitcher. Otherwise 5 stars!

I’ve had mine for quite awhile now. Maybe 6 months. It is so easy to use, especially since iced tea is the beverage of the day here. I like the filter well enough, but have considered using disposable filters, the kind that’s used for coffee. Haven’t done that yet. The water line is well marked and I’ve only poured too much in once because I wasn’t paying attention. Pay attention and there will be no problems. I do NOT add ice to the pitcher. Cold water only and then add ice to the glasses. Some have complained about the included glass pitcher. I noticed the first day that the pitcher is too thin and fragile and I don’t use it. Instead, I use a sturdy plastic 1/2 gallon pitcher from a well-known company. I haven’t had any problems at all. I also use the maker 2x in order to have a full gallon of tea. No lemon, no sugar, just delicious ice cold, iced tea once I pour it over a glass full of ice. In all, I love this iced tea maker, except for the included glass pitcher.

Tea maker is standard/good. The pitcher will have to be replace periodically (high price) as they didn't invest in delivering reliable product.

I really like this tea pitcher. I'd give it 5 stars except for the volume it holds. The listing says it holds 6 cups. It does, if you count a cup as 4oz and not the standard 8. It holds 24oz max. They put an overflow hole on the back, i ended up siliconeing that up with food safe silicone so i could get the capacity to 32 ounces, which it does no problem once i sealed that up. The pitcher is very nice. Its glass and thin, but not too thin. I've had it almost 6 months now and its still working great. I don't think its quite 3 quarts - more like 2 1/2 quarts (i use a plastic 16oz takeout cup, and the pitcher will hold 5 of them). It brews fast, by that i mean it heats up and starts brewing quickly. I like the on/off button that you can actually turn it off instead of having to unplug it like older cheap tea makers i've had in the past. I like the variable strength option. I keep it at the strongest setting, but i only use two family sized tea bag per gallon of tea. It has a very fine screen filter cup, which is nice as well. The only real issue i've had was the capacity as described above.
