**Q: Does the module draw current when in the open state?  If so, how much current is drawn.**
A: I haven't measured it's current draw when the relay is off, but I could almost bet this only takes a few milliamps.  That 8-pin controller chip is not going to draw much energy.  The biggest current draw is when the relay coil is turned on - probably 80 or 100 mA for the coil.

**Q: Will this switch reset if the dc power is removed?**
A: Yes they revert to default when power is removed

**Q: Is this limited to a 30v dc application or can i use this to switch my 12v dc devices? if so, what is the amp rating for a 12v dc device? thanks!**

### ⭐⭐⭐ Self latching?: yes, Bi-stable?: NO

This is sold as a bi-stable relay. It is not. It is a regular normally open/closed (NO/NC) relay with a latching circuit. The relay does not hold its state on power loss. It defaults to off. The other odd thing is that the trigger circuit requires a connection and then only changed the relay state when the trigger is disconnected. This would be good for lights but not for the motor drive applications. Back to shopping, I guess.
