Thanks!** A: Not too sure, they lay flat to drawing board with paper, however, i use them mostly for measuring, when inking i have never used ruler, i use triangles, the metal is strong and rigid, i would use triangles that can easily be cleaned of any ink, i would think you risk the ink on the scale and blocking numbering then if you had to clean ink, you may remove the numbering too **Q: How long does it take to ship?** A: most of the items i purchased turned around in a couple of days **Q: How wide is the product? I se that it's 6 inches long. Also how thick is it?** A: It is about 3/8 of an inch.
