## Description

desertcart.com: Yoyo King Ghost Bi Metal Aluminum and Steel Professional Trick Yoyo with Ball Bearing Axle and Extra String … (Silver) : Toys & Games

Review: Extremely fun yo yo when set up as responsive - This can be set up as responsive (returns on a tug) or nonresponsive. The adjustment requires only swapping the bearing out. The responsive bearing, which is the narrower one, is incredibly smooth and silent. There's no vibe in the throw at all. The nonresponsive, wider bearing, even after adding some machine oil is rougher. It's odd to see a sleep run longer on a responsive set up, but that's the case with this one. I don't know if the bimetal adds stability or not, but it is a very stable, long running throw. The landing area is wide for string tricks. It comes in black or silver, and I bought the silver. The finish is very, very good, and it's an eye catching yo yo. On a bright string, it really pops. I have it on neon yellow now, but a neon blue would be really sharp. I'm really enjoying playing with this yo yo. Quality of the build, other than the issue noted with the nonresponsive bearing, is easily as good as my Duncan Windrunner. It's hard to beat a Duncan bearing though.
Review: A good bi metal for the price. - I actually really like this yoyo. For a cheap-end bi metal, it’s held up incredibly well for past few months. Much like the Space Monkey, the Ghost (both are made by the same company) is a jack of all trades but master of none. Then again, it’s not meant to be. It’s meant to be a bi metal than can act as a “beater” throw if you want. Carry it with you, scratch it up; it’s not expensive and is fun to use. The shape is a V profile with rounded off rims. This makes the Ghost a bit better for speed combos than its Space Monkey counterpart in my opinion. If you use a glove, some ok-ish finger grinds/ finger spins are possible but they’ll never be as great as say a YoYofficer Yacare. Again, it’s not trying to be something like that though. For the one I’ve got, where it shines is pure spin time and stability. When it comes to sheer spin time, mine is able to go toe to toe with much more expensive bi metals like my iYoYo Iceberg or Yoku Euler, both of which are way more expensive. Couple that with the inherient stability it has, and it’s a great yoyo to use when learning new tricks especially longer combos. As an added bonus, my particular Ghost is dead quiet. That comes in handy if I want to throw while watching a show or listening to music. The only con I have for this one would be the response pads; they’re pretty slippy. If you’re an experienced player on the unresponsive scene, this won’t be the worst in thing in the world. However, players new to unresponsive yoyos are going to have a rough time with this one. In short, it’s a good bi metal for what it is. I’ve found myself throwing it into a backpack to go to work with me so I can have a fun yoyo on hand while not worrying about it receiving some cosmetic damage. If you’re on the fence, give it a shot.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: is this a responsive yoyo?**
A: It comes as a responsive yoyo that wakes up, with a narrow bearing installed. It also includes an additional wide bearing in the box in case you wish to convert it to non-responsive.

**Q: What are the silicone pads for?**
A: They are a set of extra response pads, in case the ones already installed on the yo-yo wear out. Most people never need to replace them because they last a very long time.

**Q: Was this made in USA?**
A: It was made in China. But it is a decent yoyo

**Q: Someone tell me the length of the axle so i can buy a bigger one**
A: Honestly there no need to order one of you're confident with a hacksaw and a file. Go to your local hardware store and grab a screw, M4, metric four. You can cut it any size for pennies( and have plenty of extra axles at custom length) instead of paying 2 bucks for maybe the wrong thing. (Use the file to make sure the threads are smooth after cutting to avoid stripping out the yoyo)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pro level performance
*by M***S on May 27, 2025*

the aluminum body and stainless steel rims gives it amazing spin time and stability, making it perfect for long, complex combos. It feels super smooth and responsive during play, and the build quality is top-notch. My only small gripe is that it’s a bit unforgiving on mistakes — definitely geared more toward experienced throwers. Still, an excellent yo-yo with near pro-level performance. Highly recommend for intermediate to advanced players!
