I softened the material in hot black coffee which did help with the coloring as the material is a stark bright white a not a natural looking tooth color. The excess material is almost impossible to trim so the "teeth" look natural. Review: Nice - I got these because my instasmile broke. I use the polybeads to actually make the teeth I wear. I cut slits into the back part of the molds to make it more flexible and a better fit. I warm a coffee mug of water for 3 minutes with the poly beads in the water. I drop the plastic ones in the water once I'm ready to start molding. Use some tweezers to take them out. Work fast! Place the melted polybeads and use the end of the tweezers to push the poly into all the nooks and crannies get a nice even layer then put it in my mouth bite down and press the plastic mold and feel the excess poly around everywhere. Take it out. Cut the excess while still pliable and then pop them back in bite down again. Make sure they sit right. Next take the poly out of the mold and check to see that they are all teeth have formed correctly and while it's firm but not solid I cut the excess with some nail trimmers to get all the edges to mimic the top of the teeth. And you got some temp teeth that don't look super fake like the plastic ones.
