Was worried that clips would fall like other reviewers mentioned, but they actually stay upright in my medium thickness hair. I like these better than my Curly Girl large root alligator clips that actually do just fall over. These plastic clips do snag my hair a little when I take them out but I’m still glad I bought them. They are also really cheap looking but I don’t mind - they lift my hair while it dries so they do the job.

Work well in my thick hair. I can understand the reviews saying they don't work in thinner hair. I use to create volume at my crown and they provide lift nicely. So far quality seems ok though they do have some rough edges of plastic.
