Good condition
CD and case are in great shape and it turned out even better than I expected it to be. I was sent an original, not a re-issue (I think) and it was signed by all 4 of the Derailers members at that time, including Tony Villanueva and my dad, Brian Hofeldt. I was more than happy to see this and very satisfied with my purchase. Thank you so much. These CD’s are not brand new, I believe they are out of print so what you get will be a resale. Like buying a Beatles record on eBay for example. For that reason you cannot expect your copy to be signed like mine, but you can expect it to be shipped well/safely and in a decent used condition like mine.

Song writing on parade!!
When I first saw The Derailers live in 1997 I thought I'd died and gone to Heaven. Here were four guys with Telecasters, slicked back hair, boots, western shirts and a swagger that left no questions unanswered. Live they absolutely killed. I had to have the album. That's when I was amazed to find that EVERY SINGLE SONG on it was written by either Tony, Brian or both. I was positively amazed at their talent and decided that I would never again write another song until I had a chance to learn at the feet of these two. That opportunity has not come to pass and I've remained true to my word. The only thing that keeps Jackpot from getting five stars is the production value. It does very little in capturing their true sound. With the exception of She Left Me Cold and Swan Song this album seems to lack the spark and pop their live performances have but you need to have this album for a PHd in what good country lyrics sound like.

look I just do not know what more I can say about this band, just go out and buy all there cd's you will have a great time listening to them.

In a time where there is so much watered down crap coming out of Nashville these days these guys are a throw back to the true sounds of real country music. I miss the fiddles, and the sounds of a steel guitar that country music used to be known for. Good for the Derailers in trying to keep the old sounds alive. I really enjoyed this CD and if you are a fan of yesterdays country music you will too.
