Obsessed since childhood with finding the legendary Knights Templar treasure,Benjamin Franklin Gates (Cage) tries to decipher ancient riddles that will lead him to it. Now, in a race against time, Gates discovers he must steal the Declaration of Independance to prevent his landmark document - and a key clue to the mysterious treasure -from falling into the hands of a ruthless enemy (Seasn Bean, The Lord of The Rings trilogy)!

similar to the other but still enjoyable
The main problem with this film is that if you've seen the first then you've seen this one. There is little originality in the script at all which is a shame, but I wouldn't say it killed the franchise.Again Nicholas Cage takes the lead role of Ben Gates in this Tomb Raider type film. Once again Ben and his trusty sidekick Riley Poole (Justin Bartha) and girlfriend Abigail Chase (Diane Kruger) are once again attempting to clear the name of his great grandfather - just like they did in the first film. In this one he (briefly) kidnaps the President rather than the Declaration of Independence, but once again they end up being chased around by the bad guys, while looking for the treasure that will prove his relatives innocence.Like I said it is very similar, but that is the problem with these tomb raiding type films, unless they go the way of theย Crystal Skull , and I don't want to see that ... again. One shock to me was to see how ill the great Ed Harris looked. I've seem many films that he's been in and he looked awfulThe film is good entertainment value, and that was just what I was looking for.

Good film to while away time if nothing else is on.
Enjoyable enough film, nothing special, and Nicholas Cages performance seemed like it was a half effort.
