It provides what I need in the compression, and gives me an option as to the length of therapy cycles..10-, 20- an 30-- minute sessions. I usually do 60 minutes, so resetting the timer for another 30 minute cycle for another "go" is no problem. I would suggest that anyone considering compression treatment, give the Vive system some consideration. Review: Excellent device, works well, just purchased 3 weeks ago - I purchased this product on desertcart 3 weeks ago. So far, the device has performed flawlessly, just as advertised. Medical devices are usually grossly overpriced, but the price of this device seems very reasonable to me. I have been using it to reduce the risk of DVT and pulmonary embolism following hip replacement surgery, but I'm sure the device would work just as well for the other medical conditions mentioned in the device brochure, including lymphedema.
