But I did a lot of research watched a lot of videos and Dobs are the way to go for beginners for sure. And it seems the mirror as are really high quality for the price. I love this thing and will be my go to for many years. There is a video on YouTube to make a light shroud and to stable up the eyepiece and both are easy as pie and necessary. Another $20 to do it. But if you are in question just get it you won’t regret. Also on Amazon you can get a decent zoom eyepiece from svbony that is great for the price I think like 30-40 bucks. I bought a $120 10mm eyepiece that’s Astromania and it’s great but very little difference in the view from the SVbony they make good stuff at a beginner price point that won’t let you down and turn you away from looking up in our sky’s. Another thing a 2X Barlow for me at least not yet has been needed it actually distorts the view more than anything. You’re better off using a 7mm eyepiece to get up close or gain distance anyhow I’m still new less than 6 months into astronomy but this is my real life review.
