Not A Toy
It's beautiful. I got it for my son and he didn't listen to me when I told him it was sharp but good thing he took precautions just in case he was wrong. He was surprised and loves it. He accidentally shaved a tiny piece of metal with it. He had to explain to me what a gutter was. I was like put it up 😂 going to hang it on his wall. Not a toy people.

Awesome looking sword
Very very disappointed with this sword. It says in the description this sword is polished sharp and this sword is definitely not sharp. Can you send me a sharp sword and I'll send this one back.

The blade fitting is loose 👎
I bought this as a display piece so I was not expecting a battle ready katana coming out of the package. That being said I wasn’t expecting a piece of crap either. The sword comes in a brown cardboard box like many of them do but this one was not wrapped in a sword bag like most of my other sword purchases are, it was wrapped in plastic to keep it clean. Upon un sheathing the sword I noticed that the blade is very loose and wobbly in the handle. I do not plan to test this blade by cutting it on tatami mats or bamboo or even water bottles like how some other reviewers might. But even if that were my intent I would not recommend doing so with this sword. The fact that it is loose and wobbly in the handle could potentially be dangerous if anyone is looking to do so. I highly do not recommend using this sword for such tests or any kind of martial arts. Unfortunately this was not a quality piece and would not recommend anyone to purchase this thing. But you never know you might get lucky where they send you one that is solid built, but I doubt it seeing the quality of this thing when it arrived.

Beautiful but only a show piece... top heavy and it creeks when shaken... 4 stars... and my lion head is mostly red.

A great looking blade
If you buy this, I would hope you were just enjoy the artwork and if you’re proficient Swordman, it’s great to have a practice or use it for anything else but I still say the artwork looks great. The balance of the blade is perfect.
