Dr. Martens Women's Sinclair 8 Eye Boots

I love these boots was concerned about sizing but I ordered my normal size and fit perfect and comfortably. I really went the versatility of the zipper and laces option. Over all a great looking boot for all outfits.

A flurry of packages has been going back and forth between Amazon and me. Trying to find a pair of doc martens I really love, trying to figure out what size will fit (their shoes are wildly inconsistent and in one style you'll need a 9 while in another you'll need a 10 and so on), returning a pair in the wrong color...and so on. I decided I was going to give up if this pair of Sinclair's wasn't right for me.Fortunately, it passed muster. True, there are issues. The 11 is HUGE on me whereas this pair of 10s is borderline too tight (why no half sizes, Doc?) but dammit, I'm keeping 'em. And, on NO size have I tried has the zipper fit me, so I'm just leaving it open. That said, I otherwise love them. They look badass even with the flower buckles and I love the platforms. I'm 61, a Doc wearer since probably before you were born, and "back in my day" there were no platforms. I just love them and now will only wear platforms because they feel lighter somehow (and these boots are quite heavy!)Anyway, despite the issues mentioned above, I love them. They look great with jeans and even some dresses or skirts. They're simple yet have a touch of uniqueness to them. Can never have too many Doc Martens.

They are super cute! I bit heavy but I am sure in time I will get use to them. I do recommend getting a size down. I usually wear an eight but the seven fits great! I absolutely love the zipper on the front and it gives you the option if you want to hide the zippers you can lace them regularly too. They came with two different sets of laces one that was solid black and then the other ones that had the yellow in it.

I hate that I wasted catching the sale when they were $150 on the wrong size. I ordered them in my normal size (8) after much back and forth due to the reviews being split between "size down" and "true to size". Well wouldn't you know it....they were to loose and floppy. Some might be ok with it and prefer a bit of space but I'm 5'1" and they look high to me even with thick socks. The leather wrinkles and buckles. I returned them and repurchased a size 7 from popular shoe store in the mall for $50 more, ugh. They fit and feel a bit snug but the clerk reassured me that I need to break them in and they'd be fine. I've only worn them a couple times and it's a painful process but I think they're almost there. They're so cuuuute to. Pictures beside my favorite platform boots for reference. They're the perfect height and are super cute with everything! Get them but I suggest trying them on in-store first.

Very tall platforms! It's such a cute and well made shoe but the platform was really tall for me...it was a little hard to walk in as well because it was so tall and heavy. Very good quality tho

They are great! I really love these boots. These are my first pair of Docs and they are very comfortable. They didn’t require much breaking in if anything, but I did massage the heels of the shoes with my thumbs a few times before wearing just in case. They are a very soft leather, so they are flexible. They are heavier than single sole boots, but nothing unmanageable plus that’s to be expected since they are high quality platforms. I personally didn’t have an issue with standing in them, but if a problem arises I can always add sole inserts. The main thing I was nervous about and I’m sure others feel/felt the same way for is the sizing. I am a TRUE size US WOMENS 7 and these fit AMAZINGLY in a US WOMENS 7. They are 100% TRUE TO SIZE!!!

These boots are everything. They did seem a smidge big at my normal shoe size but not anything uncomfortable. I love that they have the zip up tongue AND the regular boot lace tongue. It's like getting 2 completely different boots in one. The platform isn't too high to look weird. They are a bit heavy but it's easy to get used to. I love these boots so much and have gotten so many compliments when I wear them. I would buy these 100 times over

Me encantaron, son súper cómodas, la piel es muy suave y no lastima los pies a pesar de las largas caminatas. Eso sí, son pesadas y es difícil dimensionar los pasos, las subidas de escaleras e incluso para sentarse o manejar se siente muy raro.

Ich liebe meine neuen Dr. Martens Sinclair Schuhe, ich besitze schon 3 andere Dr. Martens Modelle aber von den Stiefeln sind das meine absoluten Lieblinge. Ich hatte sie hier in der Variante vegan gekauft habe aber in der Lieferung die aus Leder erhalten was mich aber nicht stört. Ich würde die Variante aus dem weichen Leder wählen, da sie angenehmer zu tragen sind. Ich würde sie in der normalen Größe wählen. Ich trage in Turnschuhen immer eine 38/38.5 und habe mir die Dr. Martens in 39 gewählt da es angenehmer ist sie zu tragen. Sie sind zwar etwas größer aber mit einer Einlegesohle & die extra dafür gemachten gepolsterten Socken sitzen sie perfekt. Habe mir die extra dazugehörigen Polstersocken dazu gekauft, würde ich jeden empfehlen der Dr. Martens trägt, somit gibt es keine Blasen mehr und das Tragen & das einlaufen wird perfekt- vertraut mir. Die Lieferung ging super schnell, die Schuhe kamen innerhalb von nur einem Tag bei mir an. Danke dafür. Der Preis absolut super, anstatt den normal Preis von 230€ habe ich für den Schuh nur 145€ bezahlt, war ein super Angebot . Bin super zufrieden und glücklich mit meinen neuen Dr. Martens .

Amazing fit!! I haven't worn DM's for many years! As I get older. I get shorter (no kidding - I have 'lost' 2 inches)!!! These are pretty heavy, but they ground me - leather is firm but soft and the Platform gives me back my 2". I love ve them!!! I thought that they were a bit small at first (around the foot/ankle) but soon eased up so they could be properly done up. I love the zip. I would LOVE to get a pair in the dark brown shade but simply can't justify the extra £100 price tag! Guess I will just need to look out for sales!
