I bought this six months ago, tested when I was at normal temperature with some variances, but it seemed minor. However, when I was running a fever, the readings were all over the place, 98.4, 101.4, 100.3, 99.8 and everything in between...and that was from just the forehead area and some of the different readings were from the same location. Further investigation suggests to take an average of the readings...seriously?!?! When I have 98.4 and 101.4...that's a pretty big gap to average.
