The rhizome of turmeric contains a set of substances called curcuminoides, whose curcumin is most important. It is a powerful antioxidant that contributes to the flexibility of the joints, muscles and tendons. To obtain an optimal activity, it would be necessary to swallow daily very large quantities of turmeric because curcumin is very poorly absorbed by the body and does not penetrate well in blood. Great product; rip-off distributor!
I've used this product directly from the distributor in Belgium (Farmaline) for over a year, and recommended it to various professionals and to friends and family for arthritis. The studies show that patients typically need 4 capsules daily even though the bioavailability is over 100X better than Meriva, BCM-95, and Theracumin (and 1000X better than the useless curcumin with piperine-bioperine that briefly increases peak blood value but has no lasting effect).
