I usually use Schmidt easyFLOW 9000, and it is the smoothest writer I have ever seen; however, I needed red ink for markups, and it essentially doesn't exist in red. These Parker cartridges aren't as smooth as the easyFLOW, but they are still very smooth and have a great ink flow.
