Mr. Coffee 12 Cup Switch Coffee Maker - Black DW13-RB

This coffee maker is a fire hazard.We bought this to replace a very old Mr Coffee that had served us well for years. The old one automatically shut off after two hours. The new (this) one does the same … except the old one stayed off while this one somehow turns back on if we don’t manually turn the switch off. I know this because I’ve walked into the kitchen (several hours after it shut off) to the smell of burnt coffee in a dried out carafe. The pilot light in the switch was lit.If you buy this item be prepared to use it as if it has no automatic function.

As simple as can be. Pour the water in, turn it on, and turn it off when your done. Makes good coffee for a great price and makes it fast..

Mr. coffee has always been the only one that out lasts the others

The water output into the basket is not in the center, but on one side of the basket, thus causing the filter to frequently collapse. I threw mine in the garbage and will never buy another Mr Coffee. This is basic stuff a big manufacturer should catch before marketing such a stupid product.
