Really heavy, solid, and good looking. 4 of these fit very tightly to the posts, one was loose to the point where it is not usable. Not an issue for me as I have only 4 burners, but wanted to give a heads up to anyone needing all 5. If not for that, would have given it a full 5 stars.

Our range was in this house when we bought it and has a 2003 manufacturer date. Every single one one of the knobs was broken or cracked at the stem, so they were all a little sloppy. These new knobs are amazingly crisp by comparison. I can now adjust the heat with just a tiny flick, no need to wiggle until the old one made contact. The outside of these knobs feels like solid metal. The stem which connects to the valves is still plastic with a metal insert. Hopefully they last as long as my original ones (and also hopefully I know to change them before they're as bad as the old ones).

Though well built, this is a case where the plastic OEM part is possibly a better match for the stove. Because this one sticks out too far, it could damage the stem on the stove and cause a bigger problem. If you have a GE profile, you should try the WB03K10303 that has the same great overall feel and build quality, but is a perfect fit. No need to compromise.
