Liquitex Professional Flexible Modeling Paste, 237ml (8-oz)

I always use this modeling paste and the quality is consistently excellent. It’s smooth, flexible, easy to work with, and perfect for adding texture to artwork. One of the best professional pastes I’ve tried.

Liquitex offers a wide variety of mediums that can be used to create texture on cards or mixed media. You can add acrylic paint or gelato's to the medium to create your own colors. You can also add color once the medium has dried. I have used this paste on a plastic stencil and the image came out very crisp, detailed. When dried the texture and design was raised fairly high and was very durable. Although I used a regular weight card stock will work, a heavier weight card stock would work better for the medium weight. Lighter weight is usually recommended for cards. I think the medium and heavier weights would be interesting on canvas. I would purchase this item again and would like to try some of the gel mediums. I would recommend this item to crafters and mixed media artists.

It certainly lives up to the promise of an easy and quick filler/modelling compound! Little errors can be quickly fixed and it sets-up in only about an hour for sanding or cutting with a sharp blade or craft-saw. It's hard but of a constant internal structure when fully set, so there are no surprises when carving. I still have the 8oz jar (now about half full) I bought from a local Art Supply over a year ago, so you don't use very much, but when you do it's the answer that nothing else can equal... Simple to use, NO mixing, and the best tool I have for application is a thin, offset, stainless-steel pallet-knife, that will make very small on-point fills or wide, flat spreading for painting textures. (Regular carbon-steel will RUST.) But if you forget to close the lid tightly after each use it will have hardened inside the jar by the next time you need to make or fix something. It's worth taking the extra trouble to make sure it's ON TIGHT.

My go to as a mixed media artist who loves making textured art. Good deal for the price, quality, and amount.

This is a great modeling paste- a lot goes a long way for your project. I love how it texturizes with stencils and free draw. It is a bit more difficult to remove excess on detailed stencils and it does take a while to dry. Using a hair dryer/heating gun will mostly dry the surface leaves it still pliable for hours. Let this sit and cure overnight for great results. Great to mix with liquid ink to color and with acrylic.

I have ordered this before. Really like it added texture to your paintings instead of just paint. ! Works great !

This is the first time using mold paste in canvas and it is amazing! Easy to use, dries well and doesn’t affect the canvas. The lid took a moment but thank you YouTube in how to open it. Definitely going to explore more with liquitex mold paste product.

Comprei para preencher pequenos defeitos em peças de impressão 3D antes de pintar com acrílicos. Anteriormente experimentei massa de enchimento para madeira mas não gostei da textura grosseira. Já utilizava outros médiuns da liquitex por isso, quando vi que era matte e espesso, comprei! Realmente é muito denso, mas dissolve em água (paciência para não incorporar demasiadas bolhas de ar!), opaco, e seca super matte em cerca de 12hr. É fácil de espalhar depois de diluído até à consistência desejada, pode-se polir com lixas normais e ao ser branco pode misturar-se com pequenas quantidades de tinta acrílica para ter contraste suficiente com a peça de plástico (e saber quando parar de lixar). E claro, servirá também para criar texturas como qualquer outro gel liquitex! O início defeito a apontar, mas que já esperava pois li as outras críticas, é o cheiro bastante intenso. Nenhum outro médium, gel ou tinta cheira tão forte! Se precisasse de cobrir uma área muito grande num quarto pequeno e mal ventilado, creio que poderia ser incómodo, mas num espaço amplo e em pequenas porções, não chega a notar-se demasiado. No geral, nenhum problema sério, tudo como esperado, e funciona bem!

Il prodotto asciutto mantiene una notevole elasticità ma rimane contemporaneamente solido ed uniforme. Risultato finale un fondo compatto e fine, forse poco materico, ma giocando con spatole e componenti aggiuntive si può raggiungere qualsiasi risultato. Ottimo

Me parece un muy buen producto, solo que el envase venía roto y se salió un poco. Deberían cuidar más el empaque en los envíos. Pero tiene una textura suave y deja un volumen sensacional.
