The cord is not very weighty, and this can be irritating, as it acts kind of bungee cordish rather than just extending to my phone - enough to pull the Pixel off to the side of a magnetic mount. If you stretch the cord out and then attach it to the phone, it will have enough memory of the stretch to not pull on the phone for the length of my driving. And, it then returns to its fully retracted state over the next hours. The stiffness is accentuated in cold weather. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice unit *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 15, 2017* For my preferences, the cable could be 12"'s longer but I really like the coiled aspect. Also the blue light on the front is really bright and distracting when driving in the evening or early morning hours. I like the idea it tells you it's plugged in, but I'm not sure of the necessity. I'd rather have no light than a bright distracting one as my phone itself tells me the unit is working. I could get it to charge if I held the connector "just so" but as soon as I removed my hand it would lose the connection. I double checked every other charger I owned to make sure it wasn't my phone (not.) I still have chargers from my old Galazy 5 that still work.
