The first two were nearly impossible to lock on the valve stem an maintain (or even get) an air tight seal. This Hromee product works perfectly! Push it on and the locking sleeve engages 3 latch hooks in the threads of the Schreader valve pulling it in and securely holding in place, maintaining the air tight seal. It does suffer the problem as all others when trying to inflate a tubed tire.: it pushes the inner tube stem inside the tire. The only solution is to use a pair of long-nosed pliers to hold the stem in place while sealing & locking. However, this Hromee tire chuck does not let go, maintaining the seal. Once locked it’s difficult to even pull off. I highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a locking tire air chuck.
