The case is clear and sleek--a bit TOO sleek. These strips work well to keep the phone and case from slipping out of my hands.As other reviewers have mentioned, the strips are a bit difficult to remove from the backing. On multiple removals, one end of the strip would get stuck to itself and I'd have to cut that bit off. It loses a star for that trouble. I haven't tried eGrips, but I read the grip can separate from its adhesive. Not cut very well, and when you try to pull them off without cutting them better they get stuck on themselves and become a mess. I don't like a phone case and these are great to give a super slick phone something to grip for your hands and fingers on the back and sides, still go in and out of my pocket okay, just have to replace them every so often.
