Review: No break in time required right out of the box. - Let me say I am really impressed with the fit and comfort of these boots out of the box. I usually have to wear 2 layers of socks or some thick wool socks to break a new boot in. These boots required neither straight outta the box. They were comfortable and so far, have been durable. I walk continuously on concrete, while bending and stripping frequently, for 10.5 hrs a day. After about 2 weeks I did notice the insole beginning to sag. I purchased a set ( as I've had to do with every work show I ever owned) of "Dr sholes all day work" insoles for $8. Problem solved, and still going strong and just as comfortable as day one. These are excellent boots for mild to cool weather, as they are not super insulated. I will see how they feel when the thermometer begins to dip below 32°F soon, and may update this review then for that reason. I don't really have a "need" in my line of work for the toe protection to be 'tested' , so that aspect I'm not sure of. Also, I must state that the anti slip soles have an excellent grip on oily and wet surfaces. I am also quite impressed by this aspect. As far as I can tell they have worked as advertised and are def worth the asking price. I got mine in sale for $99 and have paid 3x that for boots that didn't work or fit as well as these. I've been wearing them everyday for about 45 days. ( That's 450+ hours of wear so far) Excellent value here. Bonus, the blue version pops and is quite stylish. Very happy w this purchase and would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a solid boot for a good price!
Review: Works well for narrow feet - I have a very hard time finding work boots that fit. I have size 13 (US) feet that are very narrow. Most work boots, especially Keens, seem to be made for more voluminous feet. These ones, however, do fit me well and are comfortable all day. (I do add my own custom insoles) As far as how they hold up; I do commercial flooring so the toes are always the first to go from being dragged on the ground. That said, my first pair lasted almost a year before I had to reinforce the toe with an aftermarket toe protector. I'm on my second pair but have gone through several sets of laces. I'm not sure if it's the quality the laces or if the eyelets on the boots are overly abrasive. I haven't had this problem with other boots. My first pair was actually still going strong after a year. What did them in was the top lace hook snapped, making it impossible to lace all the way to the top. I've read and heard from others that this is a fairly common problem with Keens in general since the hooks are molded plastic instead of metal. The composite toe is nice. It makes the boot lighter and doesn't set off metal detectors. The waterproof membrane never wore out on my first pair. While I work indoors, I still live and work in the PNW so unloading materials outdoors and just walking to and from job sites tested their waterproof capabilities and they never let me down. More than likely I will keep buying these boots as I wear them out. I feel like a year of abuse is fair for the life of a work boot, and with some added toe protection and some extra care when I lace them, I might get more long longevity out of my current pair.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good boots
*by R***5 on October 22, 2024*

Very comfortable, fit was good I had room for my toes, weight was good not to heavy at all. I got these for work in winter time at the garage. I'm in and out from time to time with repairs. What I do is fairly light duty but I still needed something that protected my foot, if I was working major construction or rebar I don't think these will be the boots I would pick for that.
