I tried it on my hair the day after I washed it and also a few days after I washed it. Both times, it made my hair "fly-away" and flattened it down on my head (in other words, whether it was a tiny bit dirty or I really needed to shampoo, it had the same effect). Ordinarily, I never have "fly away" hair and my hair has good volume- it's doesn't lie flattened on my head!This brush most certainly did NOT clean my hair in any way whatsoever.Proceed at your own risk!
