Review: Must have for scale planes, cars or other models with clear plastic. - I'm building a 1/72 Emily flying boat. It has over a dozen small windows. As shown in my first attempt I was able to use capillary action to MAKE windows. Given this old Hasegewa kit has bubbles in most of the plastic windows, being able to skip them for the majority of the windows is wonderful. It is also an effective "White Glue" meaning you can use it hold smaller pieces in place while dry fitting larger pieces. So in this kit I used it to hold the flight deck in place while I worked on the fuselage halves. It is also useful with modeling putty to provide a "backing" so you don't need to put as much putty in a gap. When working around cockpit windows this is a big deal as you don't want white putty seeping under the window onto the black dashboard top. The only improvement is that you have to apply it with a toothpick. Thanks** A: This is an adhesive, similar to white glue, I typically apply with a toothpick to attach small parts to models. It can also be used to make small window "panes" in openings about 1/4" square. To do this, apply to the edges of the window, and it sort of closes in on itself, you might turn the part over a couple of times during the drying time to prevent sagging **Q: Will this glue photo etch parts to gundam model kits?** A: Yes... It is just like white glue,but stronger. It will give you time to position the photo etch part. You can also usr Gator's grip for PE parts **Q: will it work on a hair line phone crack?** A: I don't believe it is intended for that type of stress. Stuff works good for plastic but the type of plastic materials used for phones may not respond well to the glues adherence. **Q: How is this glue different from Elmer's?** A: To be "clear" this is a different product than the other Micro decal setting/softening products.
