And the questions are great. Love the system! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love the Reading Detective Series *by H***S on January 15, 2016* I love the Reading Detective Series. Each of my sons has used the various grades offered by this company and have thrived. This book is meant for 3-4 graders. I understand your child my be in these grades but have a lower or higher reading level. I can't give you the exact book to start with, but as a homeschool mom, I can tell you they are very accurately marked with the grade. Basically there is a reading passage of several paragraphs-a short story or exerpt from a book. The student is then to answer 8-10 multiple choice and direct questions about the story. The questions are thorough-some obvious, some require the child to look for specific sentences to back up their answer. All in all, the child learns to find the theme, supporting evidence, and learn to comprehend what they are reading more effectively. I highly recommend this book as a supplement to your language arts and daily reading.
