As per our calculations you would need more than 20kg or more than 5 sets of our liquid silicone to make this mold. Also given the mold size. Mixing ratio is the key as well as thorough mixing is needed and the mold would need extended time to cure because of the size of it. Thanks **Q: Can this be used as a brush on mold maker?** A: Not sure, it is very thick and does set up quickly, I would speculate the size of your mold would dictate working time. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best value and easy to use! *by N***S on July 15, 2022* I kinda had to jump into the deep end on casting, but I'm glad after a lot of research I chose Techarooz. It has a GREAT working time for beginners (40 minutes) just in case something goes wrong.Make sure to pick up a digital scale because it's 1:1 mix by WEIGHT not volume, so you can't eyeball the measurements.By the gallon is the best value you're going to get and the molds that pop from this stuff are strong and promise to have a long shelf life. It's also easy to clean up if you make a bit of a mess and plays well with Plastilina/Plasticine clay.Two part molds come apart easily with agent.IF you're master casting is a 3D print, be wary. PLA and ABS are less dense than the silicone, so if you don't pin down the print VERY securely it WILL float out and you'll have to either start over or salvage the mold within the working time.Gold stars all around. I look forward to buying again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This can be thickened with thivex *by T***R on June 16, 2024* I have started playing with this and so far it is working great it has cures enough to touch and apply another coat it is still somewhat sticky after 1hr will see if that goes away in 24hrs. From the test the thivex has not hurt the shore hardness and does not seem to tear and didn't effect the cure as of now.
