This 4K Blu-ray looks and sounds absolutely stunning — the kind of experience that reminds you why physical media still matters. The Dolby Atmos TrueHD mix is incredibly clean, immersive, and natural. It’s not artificially loud like some other discs, but that’s part of what makes it so good. At reference level (0.0 dB) it can sound a little soft, but around +2 to +4 dB above reference, the entire soundstage opens up — jets thunder overhead, dialogue locks perfectly to the screen, and bass hits deep and tight without boominess. Here’s something a lot of people overlook: mixes like Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and DTS-HD Master Audio are mastered for large cinema spaces, so they sometimes need a small volume bump at home to reach full theatrical impact. By contrast, hotter mixes like Jurassic Park (4K DTS:X) or Ready Player One (Dolby Atmos) already hit full intensity right at reference level.
