Review: Keeps beat up old wheels going a bit longer - The trailer for my lawn tractor is well over 20 years old. I got it at a garage sale a long time ago and it's on its second tractor (I wore out the first one). It doesn't get a lot of use, but when I DO use it I'm not gentle with it. It moves firewood, brush, pavers, stones... whatever it needs to move, and all of it is heavy. After years of hard use and a life in the rain and snow, it's showing its age. The wheels on it are pitted enough that a tubeless tire won't hold air, but the cost of new wheels and tires is too much to justify for a trailer that's probably on its last legs. In other words, I needed tubes and tires. For the use this thing gets, I figured anything round that holds air would be good enough. Each tire/tube in this set cost less than $15, which is about as cheap as I could find anywhere. They were at my house a couple of days later. Installation was a bit of a fight but not bad. I usually seat one bead on the wheel, install the tube, then seat the other bead. I can do the first bead without any tools but the second bead usually requires a pair of large screwdrivers to use as tire spoons. I had both tires installed in about 15 minutes with barely any cursing or gnashing of teeth.
