That belt had a Velcro closure that was simple and easy to adjust on the run. This belt has a clip system and you have to stop to pull the strap through each clip to tighten it.Unfortunately this belt fails at 2 of its primary jobs: staying tight, and being easy to tighten on the run. I find that it slowly loosens on its own, especially when I’m running with 4 full bottles, and it is not easy to tighten.If I remember to tighten it up a little extra before I go it’s usually OK, but still a bit disappointed that it’s not a better design. I like everything else about it. The pack is just the right size, and the new bottle design is a big improvement of the old ones. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Useful running belt *by N***T on Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2017* I had a different running belt that was not useful- pouch was too small, water bottle leaked. This product is handy- the belt is adjustable, and soft so it doesn't rub and chafe. The bottles are ok sized- a tiny bit small. They are oddly difficult to remove from their holders. They snap back in easily but take some effort to get out. The pouch is good sized- big enough for my samsung s7 and a package of energy gummies. I like that you can buy add-ons for the belt. It does ride up a little when running. I like the non spill water bottle lids as well. Overall, I'm pleased with it and would buy it again. ### ⭐ Item received is not what is pictured *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2021* Beware!
