There is a significant sound difference between the RP-600M II and the former model. The new RP-600M II has new drivers (the sound sounds deeper and more refined. Way more of a HiFi sound than the previous generation). Klipsch also upped the internal bracing in these. Less resonance internally. When we first set them up, we had some people asking where the subwoofer was. It's a more refined version. Between the original and the RP II, we're definitely recommending the RP-600M II.
