This has helped my grandson where the School was not been able to accomplish. Very good at explaining how to work problems.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but Not Comprehensive of Pre-Algebra

It's a good book but too elementary. It covers negative number, fractions, order of operation, exponents, and plugging in X when X is known. Furthermore, the problems are not well written so it bogs down the student with huge fractions so that instead of focusing on the topic at hand (ie subtracting negative numbers), the student wastes a lot of time wrestling with denominators, etc. The book is very repetitious and fails to cover different aspects of the topic. In other words, I wouldn't recommend this as a summer prep because it's not comprehensive.
