I used a USB-C voltage meter to verify that the correct voltage was being triggered and it was. Just, FYI, it is important that your charger supports the wattage that is required to run your laptop. It also requires Power Delivery output at 20V. Without these things, it won't work. This adapter simply does not work for me in any case. It will very rarely charge for a short time, but most of the time it does not work at all.
