I ended up replacing the wires. The set up was easy; the interface was easy to learn, and the app is easy to use. One picture shows the TV monitor with the cameras, the other shows all screens visible on my phone app. So far so good. Was skeptical may not be that great of quality based on reviews, but I will say it's much better than what I had. Nice to be able to schedule when to record motion vs continuous, and easy playback on my phone (much better than night owl). I believe if you have the ability, the hard wired camera’s are the best way to go but it is work getting them installed.
