I wanted it to be very girly in my room. The entryway is about 4-5’ long. I used 4 of the hangings & used a tension rod to hang it. The tension rod I got from Walmart for $5. It was fine with 2 hangings, but I ordered two more to have some thickness to it. The strands are like woven string with the beads scattered through it.
