The Lessons at the Center had been so fantastic and I was very eager to read Anat Baniels' book "Kids Beyond Limits."First, I have to say I was very surprised at how much more the 9 essentials, defined in this book, affected my whole outlook on not only handling my son but parenting as a whole, mylife, my marriage, everything. The simplicity to them is just awe inspiring.Second, I like how easy it is to follow. I have been very dedicated to researching new methods and/or treatments to help my son since he was in the NICU and first diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Having no medical background, some books are full of words and ideas that require additional research on my end. It gets frustrating at times. This book was written, I believe, with the reader in mind. There are examples with each essential, ideas of how to implement them into your routinesand life and how it's written is very direct andeasy to track. I found it most refreshing.Lastly, if you are looking for a way to help your child with OR without a disability, I recommend this book. I have two children, my son with CP and my daughter who is your typical toddler,and I have found by inserting what I havelearned with both my children, they both havebenefitted as well as myself.My family is a huge advocate for ABM as wehave first hand witnessed what it can do. Thisbook is a huge exstention of what YOU can apply in your home with your family to help them.My sons development all around has greatly improved. His speech, fine motor, physical abilities...
