He loves strumming his father's guitar and I thought I'd buy him a guitar of his own for his 2nd birthday. I should post the small video of him going crazy with delight at strumming this. Because of that overwhelming joy, I have to give this 5 stars. I will say that I had a hard time buying one and I'm happy Amazon and Amazon reviewers helped. The toy ones were ruled out after reading so many negative reviews. At the time I bought this one, it was on a good sale and it had both good and bad reviews but the good outnumbered the bad. Further research indicates that my 2 year old nephew might be about 2 years too young for this guitar, but ... oh, well. HIs parents say he loves it and he is always strumming on it and singing the ABC song.
