Unfortunately, the weather is bad here so I was only able to try it out underneath our porch but it works great and offers enough space for my husband, my daughter, and myself, although I wouldn't want to sleep in it with that many people. It's great for lounging, though. I can't wait until the weather gets better and we can take it on our family hikes. What a great way to spend a break during a hike.The material is kind of like parachute material, very thin but very sturdy, and the color should be obvious enough in the woods so as not to be mistaken for an animal by a hunter (yes, that's a real concern where we are).
