No, all MK4 is NOT synthetic. It's the animal version of K2. Animals make it from K1 if they are eating the way they are designed to. Since most humans don't eat that way, we need to supplement. The always synthetic version is MK0, also known as K3 or menadione. It's not especially good for you. It is not allowed in the USA for human supplements. **Q: I'm sensitve to mcc. the old formula was good. why was it changed?** A: This material required a filler to run on the encapsulation machinery.
