Clips work awesome to hold the glass bed. They ONLY work for the glass bed but they work great. Very secure and pop off and on easily

I recently ordered a Creality glass bed for my Ender 3 S1 printer and found the alligator clips that came with it were not large enough and kept sliding off. After reading several online posts I noticed that most people who run a glass bed use clips/clamps and many recommended the Creality clamps. So I ordered them and in a couple of days I finally had them in hand and when I went to install them, they were too small. Turns out you have to remove the thick magnetic strip that sits on top of the printer bed platform! Once I removed the magnetic strip the clips worked great and hold it firmly in place.

Used these to mount the glass bed upgrade on my Ender 3 V3 SE.Before these clips will fit, you *must* remove the magnetic bed layer from the heated base. This step is kind of a pain because it's glued on. Learn from my mistake: You don't need to unbolt the bed - just pick a corner and start peeling up the brown layer that's under the removable metal print surface.The glue holding the magnetic layer down is *strong*, so this will take some considerable effort. There's also no going back once you start peeling it off; it will wrinkle/crease as you go (or at least as I did it, anyway). That said, once you go glass, you won't want to go back anyway.Once the magnetic layer is removed, just place the glass bed down on the heated base bed and add these clips around the edges. There are 8 clips, and most people use 4 and keep 4 for spares, but I put all 8 on: 3 each on the front/back, and one on each side.

I have made other modifications to my printer and sometimes these clips come close to hitting them...so not sure I will continue with the glass bed

I purchased these before and returned them because they were too tight. I realized later that these clips are incompatible with the magnetic sticker that was on the bed on the Creality Ender 3 Pro. The bed, sticker and glass together is too think. After peeling off the sticker, they work quite well. Don't get them if you want to use a glass surface while retaining compatibility with magnetic plates.

I use a glass plate on each of my 3d printers and these have been fantastic to mount the glass plate. They are not flimsy and hold the plate sturdy. They are very easy to install and are the perfect and inexpensive upgrade for your 3d printer if you are using a glass print plate. If the time comes that I need to remove them to clean the glass plate, they are easy to remove and re install.They hold the plate so your print quality is not affected while printing in faster speeds.
